Aboriginal Education at Leigh Creek Area School

Our Aboriginal students are supported by our Aboriginal Community Education Officer (ACEO), Noel Wilton.

Noel is available to support students with targeted learning and regulation in class or small groups and is on-call when necessary.

Noel is our Aboriginal Adnyamathanha language and culture leader. He works with a dedicated teacher to deliver our award winning Adnyamathanha program to all students and can provide local information relevant to Aboriginal perspectives across the curriculum areas.

As a community Elder, Noel provides an important link between home and school for our Aboriginal students.
